In the south-east of Myanmar lies the village of Tah La Kone, where the local community faces many challenges, such as frequent armed conflicts, access to drinking water, and the lack of infrastructure.
This is why we launched an ambitious project aimed at improving the living conditions of the inhabitants of Tah La Kone by building a well for access to drinking water and by implementing sustainable economic development initiatives.
Project Objectives
The main objective of this project is to provide a sustainable solution to the water crisis in the region, by providing reliable access to drinking water for all households in the village. At the same time, we aim to strengthen the economic autonomy of the community by launching income-generating activities, such as mushroom growing and making bamboo crafts.
On the ground with Saw
Together, we work closely with community members and with Saw, our spokesperson, to identify the priority needs of villagers and implement sustainable solutions. We involve residents at every stage, from needs assessment to project implementation, to ensure that solutions are appropriate and beneficial in the long term.

How can we help the Tah La Kone?
We are asking for your financial support to finance the different stages of our project, from the construction of the well to the establishment of economic activities. The funds will be used to purchase building materials, install the necessary equipment, as well as train community members and monitor the initiatives implemented. These trainings are currently attended by 9 people in the village due to the significant rural exodus. Your help will help revitalize the village so that the Tah La Kone can perpetuate their culture.
