Since 2015, Constellation Sociale, a Toulouse-based non-profit action-research organisation, has been working in France and internationally to promote diversity, empowerment, interculturality and education.

OUR MISSION

Preserve and promote the diversity of cultures, knowledge and know-how by supporting their transmission and dialogue.

Our purpose: to make cultures shine. Working hand in hand with communities, we develop field-based, action-research and international cooperation projects, while supporting their initiatives for autonomy and knowledge transmission. Our commitment is to promote interculturality as a source of richness, both in France and around the world.

Bringing People Together Without Standardizing Them

Knowledge is connected to people, practices, communities and territories. Rather than standardising it, we seek to connect different forms of knowledge while preserving their contexts and specificities. This approach guides our field projects, action-research activities and the development of our digital tools.

Research & Digital Tools — Knowledge Constellations

Knowledge Constellations is an interactive digital tool for exploring, comparing and visualising qualitative knowledge across different communities and territories. Drawing on contributions from communities, organisations and documented sources, the tool helps reveal similarities, complementarities and different ways of responding to shared questions. Researchers, cultural and heritage institutions, NGOs, public authorities and other organisations can explore the data, compare different approaches and discover the diversity of documented knowledge and practices.
