A vibrant network that connects the world's knowledge
Connecting knowledge means forging links between communities, cultures, and practices that inspire one another.
The Knowledge and Skills Network brings together tradition bearers, artisans, researchers, institutions, and cultural actors around a shared goal: fostering dialogue among living heritage traditions to build sustainable and inclusive futures.

Maurice’s testimonial
“In our village, we’ve always made it a point of honor to preserve our traditional skills. However, we’ve noticed a decline in young people’s interest in these skills. By participating in the “A knowledge and know-how network across three continents” forum, we were able to share our techniques (basket weaving, environmentally friendly farming, traditional recipes), learn new ones (permaculture, the art of food preservation) and discover distant cultures with values and challenges similar to our own. This forum not only strengthened our pride in and knowledge of our own culture, but it also forged bonds of friendship and solidarity across the globe. We now feel part of a large global family, united by diversity and mutual respect.”
