Terms and Conditions for Donations

These terms and conditions for donations govern donations made to Constellation Sociale through the HelloAsso payment platform.

1. Beneficiary Association

Donations are made for the benefit of Constellation Sociale:

2. Purpose of Donations

Donations are used to support the actions, projects and initiatives carried out by Constellation Sociale.

They may, in particular, contribute to:

supporting solidarity projects around the world;
promoting intercultural dialogue and education in France and internationally;
preserving and promoting cultural heritage and local know-how;
contributing to the implementation and development of the association’s projects and initiatives.

Donations may be one-time or recurring, depending on the options available on the donation form.

3. Donation Procedures

Online donations are made using the donation form provided by HelloAsso.

Payment and the collection of the information necessary to process the donation are carried out directly through the HelloAsso platform.

The terms of use and rules applicable to HelloAsso’s payment services also apply to transactions carried out through its platform.

4. Voluntary Nature of Donations

All donations are made freely and voluntarily by the donor.

The donor agrees to provide accurate information when such information is necessary to process the donation.

5. One-Time and Recurring Donations

The donor may, depending on the options available on the HelloAsso donation form, make a one-time donation or set up regular monthly support.

For a one-time donation, the suggested amounts are €15, €30, €50 and €300. The donor may also choose a custom amount.

For a monthly donation, the suggested amounts are €15, €30 and €50. The donor may also choose a custom amount.

For a monthly donation, the payment arrangements, as well as the terms for modifying or cancelling the regular support, are those provided by HelloAsso at the time of subscription.

6. Payment and Security

Payments are made through the HelloAsso platform.

Constellation Sociale does not directly collect the banking details required for online payments. Payment processing is carried out by the payment services used by HelloAsso.

HelloAsso states that its payment platform operates in compliance with the regulatory framework applicable to payment institutions in France.

7. Tax Receipt

When a donation qualifies for a tax deduction in accordance with applicable tax regulations, HelloAsso is mandated by Constellation Sociale to automatically generate and send the tax receipt to the donor, based on the information provided at the time of the donation.

The issuance of the tax receipt and the donor’s eligibility for any tax deduction remain subject to the conditions set out in the applicable tax regulations.

8. Cancellation and Refunds

A donation constitutes a voluntary payment made for the benefit of the association.

Any request to cancel or obtain a refund for a donation must be addressed to Constellation Sociale as soon as possible at contact@constellation-sociale.org.

Requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis, particularly where a payment has been made in error or in the event of a technical issue.

The terms and conditions applicable to HelloAsso may also apply to transactions carried out through its platform.

9. Personal Data

The personal information provided when making a donation is necessary to process the donation and, where applicable, to issue a tax receipt.

When a donation is made through HelloAsso, certain data is collected and processed directly by the platform.

The processing of personal data carried out by Constellation Sociale is described in its Privacy Policy.

10. Acceptance of These Terms and Conditions

By making a donation, the donor acknowledges that they have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions for Donations.

11. Amendments to These Terms and Conditions

Constellation Sociale may amend these Terms and Conditions for Donations to reflect changes in its activities, donation procedures, or applicable regulations.

The version applicable is the one published on the website at the time the donation is made.

12. Applicable Law

These Terms and Conditions for Donations are governed by French law.

In the event of any difficulty or dispute, the donor is invited to contact Constellation Sociale first in order to seek an amicable resolution.
